Garage Sale
Saturday - 2/5/2005
We are having a Garage sale to raise funds for Band, Colorguard
and Orchestra.
Please donate your unwanted treasures by Thursday 2/3/05.
We will take everythingyou have as long as it is working.
Unwantedtreasures needed:
Electronics (computers, monitors, tvs, radios, small appliances
etc.)
Clothes
Artwork
Toys
Sporting Equipment
Jewelry

Emergency Parent Meeting
Wed - Jan 12, 2005
@ 7 PM in the Chorus Room
For personal reasons,
at the last parent meeting, Luisa Arias announced her decision
to step down from her position as President of the Parents
Association.
Well, we need a new president so, on January 10, 2005 the
Board of Directors will have a meeting and their agenda will
include the analysis of candidates for the position.
As stated within our by-laws, the Board will decide on a candidate
and will bring his/her name to the Parents Emergency Meeting.
This candidate must then be approved by the majority of parents
present.
If you are interested in filling this position, you MUST contact
a board member (contact us page) as soon as possible. You
will be asked to submit some information to the board PRIOR
to the Jan 10 meeting
As you can see, your presence and interest in this matter
will be very important in
helping us decide the future of our Association. Please note
your calendars!

selected to
the Festival of Winds at USF and you cannot attend the concert?
Do not worry! You can watch (and listen) to the concert LIVE
via internet.

Parade - Thu, Dec 9th - 5:30 PM
If your son or daughter
are members of the Marching Band,
he our she MUST bring a garment bag to school
in order to pick up their uniform.
Students are NOT
allowed to eat or drink anything while in their uniforms.
Only exception is for water.
Holiday Party

Have you signed a permission
slip to the Oct 9th competition?
We need to have it in order to be able to go to the Falcon
Sound competition.
BAND PARENT.... your
son our daughter should have their black dinkles by next week.
If they do not have them yet, please purchase them at All
County Music in Tamarac or any other music store. Your son
or daughter will not be able to participate in the Falcon
Sound Competition without them.

among other important announcements. Everyone should be there!
