Young Musician Development (Grades 7-12)
Instrumental students with financial need from Miami-Dade and Broward county schools are encouraged to apply for free music
lessons with NWS musicians. Requirements include at least one-year of study on instrument with which student applies. Student
must be able to get to the Lincoln Theater for lessons.
Per Carina Voly – "For those students that are really deserving and have economic need, we offer a scholarship (with proof
of students being in the lunch program), along with the recommendation of the teacher. We encourage school teachers to identify
those students, and they will be assigned to a private teacher on a first come, first served basis.
